Job Overview
Advance Pump and Equipment, Inc. leads the industry with more than 30 years of custom design and manufacturing experience of vacuum tank trucks and trailers. We collaborate directly with each customer to gain an understanding of their needs and provide the highest quality product on the market. We are looking for a driven Shipping/Receiving Clerk to join our team.
The successful candidate for this position will:
- Ensure receivables are correct, accurately entered, and updated in Genius with paperwork scanned to our files.
- Work with purchasing to rectify vendor errors.
- Responsible for stocking or direct consuming material immediately after receipt.
- Package and load outbound material.
- Assist with hose sales orders and process emergency sales orders with freight carriers
- Provide support to Production Supervisor’s requests.
- Complete part pulls for Barrel and Assembly production jobs.
- Transfer material into and from production areas as documented on work orders.
- Travel to get supplies from various vendors, and between Advance Pump locations.
- Perform inventory audits per schedule.
- Assist with the completion of maintenance tasks as needed.
- Consume and restock floor stock and shop supplies as needed.
- Ensure parts manuals and warranty documentation are delivered to the office daily.
- Ensure the cleanliness of the shipping area as well as ensuring it is secure (locked) at the end of each shift.
- Perform special projects and other duties as assigned.
Experience
- Fork truck experience a plus; we are willing to train an otherwise qualified applicant.
- Previous shipping/receiving experience preferred.
- Experience using Genius or an ERP system.
- Experience with 5th wheel driving or painting is a plus.

Applicant Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age.
- Must have the ability to 40 hours per week, plus overtime if required.
- Must have a valid Driver’s License.
- Must have the ability to lift up to seventy-five (75) pounds at a time.
