Please accept this invitation to join the Bethany Home team.  We are currently seeking a full-time (32 hours per week) housekeeping/laundry aide. Our team provides compassionate care to elderly people who need assistance managing their health care needs. We provide several levels of care from independent living, to nursing care, skilled nursing care and memory care.  The housekeeping/laundry aide will be part of a team that keeps the environment of Bethany clean and safe for residents by following cleaning protocols. This position will provide cleaning for patient rooms and common areas within Bethany and will work in laundry on their weekend to work and as needed during the week.

Responsibilities:

• Perform essential cleaning in resident apartments, resident rooms, bathrooms and shower rooms
• Perform essential cleaning in common areas, offices and conference rooms, beauty shops and the chapel
• Assist with washing, drying, folding and delivery of facility lines, towels and resident’s clothing
• Respond to resident requests and concerns and notify supervisor
• Deep cleaning as needed
• Adhere to safety guidelines while completing work
• Ensure that infection control principles are followed and make suggestions to correcting deficiencies in practice

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED
• Schedule availability to work every third weekend and every third holiday
• Excellent interpersonal skills, including customer service, patience, empathy, and compassion
• Experience working in housekeeping a plus but not required

Job Details:

• Schedule: 7:00 am – 3:00 pm including working every third weekend and every third holiday
• Starting wage: $15.50 - $16.00 per hour
