EARLY CHILDHOOD CLASSROOM COORDINATOR
SALARY: $38K-$41K/YEAR
LOCATION: DUBUQUE, IA
Principle Responsibilities: Early Childhood Classroom Coordinator is expected to work closely with the Early Childhood Lead Classroom Coordinators and Early Childhood Team to support & assist with Early Childhood coordination & processes within classrooms.This position will report to the Director of Early Childhood.
Principle responsibilities will include, but are not be limited to:
Early Childhood Classroom Coordination: Works closely with the Early Childhood Lead Classroom Coordinators and Early Childhood Team to support child care coordination that aligns with the organization's culture and values of excellence, innovation, and wellbeing.
- Classroom assistance and support in an assigned Early Childhood room.
- Assist and support the plan and vision for Early Childhood and implementation of onsite laboratory.
- Effective and quality Early Childhood support, assuring organizational mission is carried out.
- Model and carry out effective policies; including policy documents.
- Assist with necessary interactions with Parents & Staff.
Early Childhood Classroom Assistance: Support and model effective communication processes with partners/parents/teammates, etc.
- Assist with registration, enrollment, and orientations.
- Assist with meal preparation and clean up.
- Support and assist with planned curriculum and enrichment opportunities.
- Work with Early Childhood Lead Coordinators on necessary stories, pictures, and information for newsletters to showcase and model children’s needs being met and align with company values.
- Work with Early Childhood Lead Coordinators on necessary early childhood documentation.
- Organizing of supplies.
- Adhere to emergency processes and procedures.
- Meet and adhere to necessary HHS requirements.
Internal Training and Consulting: Participate in training & consulting opportunities that aligns with the organization's culture and values of excellence, innovation, and wellbeing.
- Participate in SEL training/consulting opportunities.

- Participate in necessary team meetings and opportunities to represent company.
- Welcome and support onboarding of new Early Childhood staff.
- Contribute to supporting a team that is self-sufficient, competent, and driven by our mission and goals.
Qualifications: Experience in an Early Childhood Education setting. This person must possess organizational skills and demonstrate an ability to communicate effectively with diverse populations. Must have experience working with students and families and thrive in a fast-paced work environment. Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills are required.
