Job Overview
- Overview:
- Maintain complete financial records on all business transactions. Complete daily, monthly, and periodic reports as required. Provide information as requested to owners, general manager, and others upon request.
- Responsibilities:
- Performs daily functions including but not limited to: Daily downloading and posting of previous day banking transactions, daily cash sweeps as well as credit card transactions.
- Mail pickup and delivery.
- Posting client payments. Print out ACH remittance reports. Deposit checks. Review and post A/P. Posting and emailing daily sales at days end. Maintain EURO valuation.
- Weekly functions include downloading the UPS billing on Mondays and including with the weekly AP run. Process and review (potential new customers) credit applications.
- Monthly functions include bank statements reconciliation. Reconcile credit card detailed settlement. ME transactions. Prepare and close-out required SAGE modules on last working day of month. Sales by State report to auditor.
- Complete annual reports 401(K) Census Review. Insurance Review and year end audit review. File 1096/1099 reports. Set up TASC for new year.
- Answer customer inquiries regarding account status.
- Make past due collection calls and email, as necessary.
- Keep track of customer credit holds.
- Post and transfer funds for payroll. Process payroll in General Managers absence. Maintain excel files for reporting purposes.
- Create and send invoices in absence of the accounting assistant.
- Receipt of invoices for incoming deliveries.
- Maintain a record of internal postings of payments and receipts as they are paid and as inventory arrives.
- Maintain employee records.
- Other tasks requested by management.
- Required Skills:
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and people skills.
- Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems.
- Leadership and management skills.
- Knowledge of accounting principles and regulations.
- Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field is a plus but not required.
- SAGE100 Business Management Software and Microsoft office experience a plus but not required.
- Several years of experience in accounting, preferably in a management role.
- Work Hours:
- Monday to Friday 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Month end closing may require additional hours.

- Salary based on experience.
