Administrative Assistant

Hourly - Non-Exempt- Part-Time

Summary: This position will assist in various administrative tasks, including mainly computer-oriented
tasks as well as sorting and preparing documents to be scanned.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities (not in order of priority):
 Prepare, scan, and index paper documents to a document management system.
 Monitor and resolve items that fail to process through the digital AP workflow.
 Complete credit applications when requested by vendors.
 Manage and pay toll bills received from state highway agencies.
 Process virtual credit card (VCC) requests from dealerships.
 Enter company vehicle maintenance items into online site for tracking.
 Review and approve office supply purchases from dealerships.
 Assist in preparation of business license renewals.
 Other duties as assigned.
Work Environment:
 Indoor working environment.
 The noise level in the work environment is usually low to moderate in a fast-paced environment.
Physical & Mental Requirements:
 Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distant vision, color vision,
peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
 Frequently required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and
talk or hear.
 Occasionally required to stand; walk; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
 Occasionally lift up to 20 lbs.
 Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance
instructions, and procedure manuals.
 Able to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or
diagram form.
Education, Skills & Knowledge Required:
 High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
 Must possess excellent business etiquette and customer service skills.
 Abe to work effectively with little supervision.
 Able to work on multiple projects at a time.
 Able to project a professional image.
