Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Appliance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in appliance repair and field service, demonstrating excellent mechanical knowledge and customer service skills. This role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining various household appliances, ensuring high-quality service delivery to our customers.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and troubleshoot appliance issues using schematics and technical manuals.
• Perform repairs on a variety of appliances including refrigerators, washers, dryers, and HVAC systems.
• Assemble and install appliances as required, ensuring proper functionality and safety standards.
• Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding repairs and maintenance.
• Maintain accurate records of services performed, parts used, and customer interactions.
• Operate a box truck for delivery of appliances when necessary, ensuring safe transport to customer locations.
• Collaborate with team members to improve service efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in appliance repair or related field service roles.
• Strong electrical and mechanical knowledge with the ability to read schematics.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Previous experience in HVAC systems is a plus but not required.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience as a delivery driver is advantageous.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
