The Marketing Intern supports the daily operations and provides strategic support to the Marketing and Business Development team. Work Environment: 

This position is expected to work in a Conlon office/job site location under the guidance of the Creative Director. Flexible schedule/hours may be available depending on academic obligations. Duties/Responsibilities: 

  • Assist with the organization, creation, and upkeep of internal marketing databases, including staff resumes, project experience, photography archives, and pursuit materials.
  • Support the development and refinement of employee resumes by identifying relevant experience and tailoring content to align with future project opportunities.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing Coordinator and Creative Director to identify and implement process improvements and efficiency tools within the department.
  • Participate in the development and editing of proposals, social content, and marketing collateral.
  • Contribute to internal marketing initiatives, event coordination, and storytelling projects.
  • Provide administrative and creative support across a variety of marketing tasks and campaigns.

Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Strong organizational and analytical thinking skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); experience with Adobe InDesign or other design tools is a plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Interest in long-term career growth in marketing or brand management.
  • Enthusiasm for the construction, architecture, or professional services industries is a plus.

 

Physical Requirements: 

  • Prolonged periods of sitting or standing is required.
  • While performing the duties of this position, the employee is frequently required to sit, communicate, reach and manipulate objects, tools or controls. The position requires mobility.
  • Duties involve moving materials weighing up to 10 pounds on a regular basis and up to 25 pounds on an occasional basis.
  • Manual dexterity and coordination are required. This position utilizes equipment such as a computer keyboard, mouse, calculator and similar devices.
  • Ability to function well in a high-paced and stressful environment.
