Job Overview
RT&T Enterprises, Inc is searching for qualified candidates for the position of Administrative & Accounting Associate in our East Dubuque, IL office.
Primary responsibilities for this position will include Driver settlements, licensing, insurance, plating & permitting, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable support and other accounting functions, while working closely with other departments within the organization.
The ideal candidate for this position will have the following abilities:

- Excellent computer skills and proficient in Excel, Word, Outlook, QuickBooks, and Data Base Management

- Willingness to learn FMCSA Rules and Regulations
- Commitment to the transportation industry
- High comfort level working in a diverse environment
Responsibilities:
- Accounts Receivable
- Annotation
- Back-up to reading new Customer packets, checking credit, and setting up customers in the system
- Back-up to checking & issuing credit to existing Customers
- Back-up to invoicing customers
- Back-up to receiving ACH’s from Customers
- Accounts Payable
- Enter Vendors into the system
- Enter and pay bills in the system
- Manage Driver tolls & fines by paying them and setting up deduction to the Driver
- Pay insurances for the semi-trucks & trailers
- Download and post fuel & Comchecks
- Driver Settlements
- Set up Owner/Operator payee files & their recurring deductions
- Weekly calculation and processing of Owner/Operator settlements - pay via ACH
- Licensing, Insurance & Plating Semi-trucks
- Managing insurance for semi-trucks & trailers and updating the spreadsheets
- Plating semi-trucks and trailers
- Manage IFTA (Interstate Fuel Tax Agreement) reporting and quarterly payments
- Manage 2290/HVUT (Heavy Vehicle Use Tax)
- Permitting for semi-trucks
- Annual permits for the Company and for each semi-truck
- Driver Orientation
- Set up Driver payee files
- Update and calculate insurance costs, based on spreadsheets
- Update, review, and execute the Carrier-Contractor Agreement and Equipment Lease Agreement with drivers
- Assign Comdata fuel card, Prepass and I-Pass transponders to drivers
- Make sure Permit Book is current with updated documents
