TRICOR Insurance is looking for a Transportation Placement Specialist to join our growing Placement team in our Dubuque, IA location!

What You’ll Do

• Market new and renewal transportation accounts to carriers
• Negotiate favorable terms, coverage, and pricing with carriers
• Prepare insurance proposals tailored to client needs
• Serve as the key liaison between agents, clients, and underwriters
• Provide advanced technical leadership on transportation risks
• Monitor carrier performance, problem solve, and ensure smooth execution of quotes
• Build and maintain strong, productive relationships with carriers and clients

What You’ll Need

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent insurance/transportation experience
• 1+ year of insurance, customer service, or related experience
• Ability to obtain an insurance license within 90 days of employment
• Strong knowledge of the transportation insurance marketplace and carrier appetites
• Negotiation, relationship management, and communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with Applied Epic preferred
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
