Specialized Recruiting Group is seeking candidates for a Dispatcher position with a reputable Dubuque company. The Dispatcher plays a key role in ensuring efficient and timely delivery operations while supporting both internal teams and external customers. This position is responsible for scheduling, routing, and communication with field personnel, maintaining accuracy in delivery coordination, and ensuring high-quality customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily delivery routes and schedules to maximize efficiency and meet service expectations
• Serve as a primary communication link between delivery drivers, customer service teams, and management
• Monitor delivery activity and update systems with real-time information on order and route status
• Review and process delivery requests to ensure accuracy and compliance with company procedures
• Maintain and update route plans, ensuring consistency with operational goals and customer commitments
• Identify and resolve delivery issues promptly to maintain service standards
• Communicate feedback, updates, and opportunities for improvement to management
• Support process improvement initiatives by recommending adjustments to routing, dispatch, or communication procedures
• Maintain accurate records of customer and delivery information within company systems
• Adhere to company safety policies and operational standards

Education & Experience

• High school diploma required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in dispatching, logistics coordination, or transportation management
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
• Experience with routing software, GPS tracking systems, or business management tools preferred
