Yard Manager

Job Overview

Specialized Recruiting Group is seeking a Yard Manager for a locally owned concrete company in Dyersville, IA. This position is ideal for someone with strong leadership skills, mechanical ability, and experience overseeing yard or construction operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily yard operations, including material handling and equipment organization

• Supervise yard staff to ensure efficient workflow and safety compliance

• Coordinate deliveries, pickups, and material staging for ongoing projects

• Maintain inventory of concrete products and materials

• Ensure equipment is properly maintained and operational

Qualifications:

• Prior experience in construction, concrete, or yard operations preferred

• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills

• Ability to operate forklifts and other yard equipment

• Reliable, safety-focused, and able to lift up to 75 lbs
