Position Summary

DDI is seeking an experienced, highly detail-driven Senior E-Commerce Operations Administrator to support and scale the operational backbone of our multi-brand e-commerce business. This role will serve as a key link between product development, sourcing, content, sales, and logistics—ensuring that production and sample orders are executed accurately, product data and imagery remain consistent across all online channels, partner orders are processed flawlessly, and shipments are coordinated smoothly from factory to our warehouse in Dubuque and ultimately the customer.

This is a hands-on role for someone who thrives in complex, fast-moving environments and takes pride in operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Production & Sample Order Execution

  • Place, manage, and track production purchase orders across multiple international factories
  • Coordinate sample orders for new product development, packaging, photography, compliance, and quality review
  • Maintain detailed records of lead times, revisions, tooling, and approval status
  • Proactively follow up with suppliers to ensure timelines, specifications, and quantities are met

Multi-Brand Product Setup & Content Governance

  • Perform product setup across DDI’s portfolio of brands and online channels (Amazon, Shopify, retail partner portals, internal systems)
  • Ensure absolute accuracy and consistency of titles, bullet points, descriptions, dimensions, weights, materials, certifications, and compliance fields
  • Manage image libraries, version control, and naming conventions to maintain brand and channel standards

Order Management & Partner Operations

  • Accurately enter and validate incoming purchase orders from national marketplace partners
  • Review pricing, terms, ship windows, routing guides, and special requirements

Shipping & Logistics Coordination

  • Partner with DDI’s warehouse and logistics teams to schedule and execute outbound shipments
  • Ensure accuracy of BOLs, packing lists, labels, ASNs, and routing compliance
  • Track shipments, manage exceptions, and support on-time, in-full performance across all brands

Qualifications

  • 3–7+ years of experience in e-commerce operations, supply chain coordination, or retail order management
  • Proven experience working in a multi-SKU, multi-brand environment
  • Strong background with ERP systems, vendor portals, and e-commerce platforms (Amazon Vendor/Seller Central, Shopify, Walmart, etc.)
  • Advanced Excel and data management skills
  • Experience coordinating with overseas factories and understanding production timelines
  • High level of precision, organization, and follow-through

 What Success Looks Like

  • Zero-defect order entry and product data accuracy
  • On-time, on-spec production and sample execution
  • Clean, consistent, brand-aligned listings across all sales channels
  • Strong cross-functional trust with sourcing, marketing, logistics, and sales teams
  • Proactive identification and resolution of issues before they impact customers or partners

About the Company

DDI, Inc. is a successful import/export company specializing in developing custom programs for small to medium sized retail groups, OEM manufacturers, and agricultural businesses.

With corporate headquarters in Dubuque, and offices in Seattle, Canada, China, and Japan DDI continues to see rapid growth of sales and clients. DDI sells full container loads of product by sourcing or manufacturing products and shipping it without needing additional outside services, such as quality verification, warehousing, customs brokerages, or freight forwarders. This allows DDI, Inc. to be not only highly cost competitive, but also timelier on getting product to the client.

Product programs include agricultural buildings, confinements, and ventilation; OEM metal or plastic products or parts; and retail products including hardware, lighting, furniture, lawn & garden, and outdoor equipment.
