Responsibilities
- Work on 4-person assembly team processing the chocolate coating of caramels
- Chocolate coating process includes:
- Tempering chocolate
- Cutting slabs of caramel candy
- Boxing finishing products
- Cook caramel candy
- Operating and basic maintenance of equipment
- Assist with production of other candies—e.g., pour mints
- Warehouse management
- Ability to work a forklift with training
- Provide support to shipping department during peak pre-Christmas season
Qualifications
- Focus and coordination to work at high-speed candy assembly line for an uninterrupted 120 minute intervals
- Physical strength able to lift 20 - 50 lbs.
- Team player – able to work and communicate well with others on candy crews and with production manager
- Flexibility and adaptability required for doing a variety of jobs
- Comfortable working in a quiet production environment
