Compensation: $60,000–$93,000 annually (based on experience)

Position Overview:
Specialized Recruiting Group is partnering with a well-established company to identify a skilled Diesel Technician. This role is ideal for a hands-on problem solver who enjoys diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining diesel-powered equipment. Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose, maintain, and repair diesel-powered equipment
- Perform mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical troubleshooting
- Complete detailed service documentation and electronic work orders
- Accurately track labor time and repair activity throughout the day
- Ensure timely, high-quality repairs to minimize equipment downtime
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized shop environment
- Collaborate with service and parts teams to meet customer needs
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required
- 1–5 years of diesel, heavy equipment, or related mechanical experience preferred
- Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills
- Basic computer skills for work order documentation
- Ownership of standard technician tools required
- Ability to meet performance metrics related to efficiency, recovery, and quality
