Job Overview

Specialized Recruiting Group is partnering with a growing organization to identify a detail-oriented Estimator who can accurately assess project costs and support timely, competitive bids. This role plays a critical part in project planning by evaluating labor, materials, and timelines while collaborating closely with internal teams, clients, and vendors. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and brings strong analytical, mathematical, and customer service skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze blueprints, specifications, and related documents to determine labor, material, and time requirements
• Collaborate with clients, vendors, engineers, and internal departments to develop accurate project estimates
• Ensure project estimates comply with applicable codes and standards
• Confer with engineering teams on change orders to prepare revised cost estimates
• Manage multiple estimates and quote revisions simultaneously to meet customer deadlines
• Develop and maintain working knowledge of ASME, API, and other applicable fabrication codes
• Apply strong organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills to support estimating accuracy and efficiency

Qualifications:

• Associate degree (2-year college) or equivalent relevant work experience required
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with strong emphasis on Excel
• Experience with industrial fabrication processes preferred
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong mathematical aptitude and practical application abilities
• Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Customer service experience with strong communication skills
