Construction Laborer

Job Overview

Portzen Construction is seeking full-time Construction Laborers.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Work on assigned job sites assisting with underground utility installation and concrete work
• May work on or with a concrete paving crew, a catch basin, curb crew, a site prep crew and/or a pipe crew
• Assist with clean up of job site
• Work under the direction of a Foreman or Project Superintendent
• Able to understand methods of installation and construction

Requirements:

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Able to understand basic math
• Able to lift 50-75 lbs.
• Able to follow safety guidelines at all times
• Will work in varied conditions including hot and cold exterior conditions
• Must wear personal protective equipment provided

This is a full-time position that can be seasonal, some travel may be required within a 150 mile radius of Dubuque.
