Job Overview
Specialized Recruiting Group is seeking candidates for an Inside Sales Representative to support a construction materials manufacturing organization.
The Inside Sales Representative is responsible for managing inbound leads, building strong customer relationships, and guiding projects through the full sales cycle. This role focuses on providing tailored solutions for post-frame buildings, metal roofing, trim, and related materials while delivering excellent customer service and accurate project coordination.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage inbound leads from marketing and advertising channels
- Conduct warm calls and consistent follow-ups with customers and contractors
- Build and maintain long-term customer relationships
- Prepare quotes, proposals, and budgets using SmartBuild software
- Track all sales activity, follow-ups, and job details in CRM systems
- Coordinate closely with internal teams and plant management to ensure accurate orders and timelines
- Move leads through the full sales cycle from initial inquiry to close
- Maintain accurate documentation, order details, and sales reporting
Qualifications
- Strong background in post-frame construction or the construction industry (required)
- Solid understanding of post-frame buildings, trim components, and construction materials
- Tech-savvy with the ability to learn and effectively use SmartBuild software and CRM platforms (HighLevel experience preferred)
- Strong communication skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Self-motivated, punctual, organized, and able to manage priorities independently
- Honest, positive, team-oriented, and willing to learn
Schedule
- Standard hours: 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
- Summer hours: 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM
- Fridays: off by 12:00 PM
