As we expand to Dubuque, Iowa, we’re looking for a skilled HVAC Technician to join our dedicated team.

Position Overview:

The HVAC Technician will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC systems in both new construction and existing residential or commercial buildings. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, a passion for customer service, and a desire to work in a family-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, and repair heating, cooling, and ventilation systems (including air conditioners, furnaces, heat pumps, ductwork, and thermostats).
• Perform routine system inspections and preventative maintenance on HVAC systems.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC system issues and recommend appropriate solutions.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and system manuals.
• Ensure all HVAC installations comply with local codes and regulations.
• Maintain accurate records of work completed, materials used, and time spent on each job.
• Provide clients with clear explanations of repairs or installations, including safety concerns and system performance.
• Work closely with other trades on construction or renovation projects to ensure HVAC systems are integrated properly.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas, tools, and equipment.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies while working in the field.
• Communicate with clients and colleagues in a friendly, professional manner.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience as an HVAC Technician, preferably in both installation and service. If you meet the key qualifications, we encourage you to apply. We value a range of skills and experiences.
• Licensing & Certifications: Valid HVAC certification and/or state license(Iowa, Wisconsin, or Illinois) and other relevant certifications.
• Skills: Proficient in the installation, repair, and maintenance of HVAC systems. Familiarity with current HVAC technologies and best practices.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift heavy equipment, work in tight spaces, and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Soft Skills: Strong communication skills, customer-focused, and able to work well both independently and within a team environment.
• Work Ethic: Reliable, dependable, and punctual with a commitment to quality workmanship.
