About the Role

Rousselot is seeking an experienced HR Generalist to join our team. This role is responsible for supporting all aspects of Human Resources, ensuring we have the systems and processes in place for our people to thrive. The HR Generalist will play a key part in analyzing current processes, implementing improvements, and serving as a trusted partner across departments.

What You'll Do

• Lead and facilitate the new hire onboarding process to deliver an exceptional experience
• Act as a primary advocate for HR programs, practices, and upcoming initiatives
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations; review and update policies as needed
• Stay informed on HR trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies
• Manage HR programs such as orientation, employee recognition, SharePoint resources, etc.
• Assist in formulating and updating HR policies and objectives
• Partner with HR and operational leadership to design and implement HR strategies
• Support day-to-day HR administration, including compensation, benefits, leave, performance management, and training
• Perform other duties as assigned

What We're Looking For

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or related field
• Experience working in Human Resources (5-7 years preferred)

Preferred Qualifications

• Hands-on generalist with the ability to manage multiple HR functions
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work collaboratively
• Proven integrity and ability to maintain confidentiality
• Strong computer and analytical skills

Work Environment & Physical Demands

• Role involves work in both office and plant environments
• Frequent walking, standing, sitting, stooping, and reaching
• Must be able to lift up to 10 lbs.
