Kendall Hunt Publishing's K-12 Division is looking for its next Marketing Graphic Designer. We are looking for a creative thinker who wants to join a fast-paced group and have a hand in all of our marketing initiatives. If you are a flexible, team-player who is a collaborative, self-starter and thrives working on traditional and digital mediums, you'd be a great fit for our small, but mighty team. Graphic design experience and knowledge in the Adobe Creative Suite are required. Html coding is a big plus! Upcoming and fresh college graduates with a graphic design or multi-media degree are encouraged to apply. Please include samples with your resume.

What Will You Do?

  • Designs and delivers creative materials for electronic and traditional media, including websites, brochures, postcards, ads, tradeshows, and sales tools. Works with K-12 team to build solutions geared towards expanding market share and servicing existing customers.
  • Creates layout and design for K-12 products and marketing.
  • Executes design projects from concept through completion.
  • Designs book covers, cover concepts, sales support materials, corporate identity materials, catalogues, direct mail pieces, advertisements, signage, convention materials and other marketing materials.
  • Must have demonstrated proficiency in designing with Adobe Creative Suite and creating HTML campaigns on a variety of platforms, as well as developing cover designs for textbooks and e-products.

Who Do We Need?

  • Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year College or university; or two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Someone with two years of graphic design experience.
  • Someone with great attention to detail, with excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Someone who enjoys customer service and working collaboratively with internal and external individuals.
