BASIC FUNCTION

ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS

SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Shipments of manufactured products on a timely or as required basis
2. Receipt of incoming freight, inspection of select shipments and stocks receipted supplies
3. Maintaining an organized and accurate inventory of coil supplies and goods ready for shipment.
4. Maintaining inventory of required supplies. (Cartons, labels, tape, UPS, etc,)
5. Performs other duties as necessary
6. Safe operation of fork trucks
7. Responsible for general housekeeping

MENTAL AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

1. Ability to use basic math skills
2. Ability to solve problems in a variety of situations
3. Ability to test and pass Fork Truck training and (preferred) Commercial Drivers License.
4. Ability to read, write, and speak English
5. Ability to work overtime and flexible scheduling to meet shipping and receiving requirements

WORKING ENVIRONMENT AND CONDITIONS

1. Performs duties both inside and outside of the plant.  Temperature environments vary with the weather.
2. Due to the nature of this business hearing protection, eye protection and safety shoes are required.
3. Performs duties in a well ventilated, well lighted and temperature controlled plant environment with some level of noise from machinery.

EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE

1. High school education or equivalent
2. Drivers license without travel restrictions. (CDL preferred)
3. Computer skills, inventory management and/or inventory management software experience plus.
