Stu’s Home Improvement Outlet is one of the fastest-growing discount retail stores in the region. In less than one year, we have grown to over 20 full-time employees and are preparing for our next location and warehouse expansion.
We specialize in appliances, furniture, flooring, home improvement products, scratch-and-dent, overstock, and liquidation inventory.
We are looking for a Sales Manager who can lead a retail sales team, drive traffic, increase conversions, and build sales systems that scale.
Position Overview
This is a hands-on Sales Manager position for someone who thrives in retail sales leadership, marketing strategy, and customer acquisition.
The ideal candidate has a proven track record in sales management, team development, and marketing execution.
Responsibilities
• Lead, train, and develop retail sales associates
• Drive daily sales performance and accountability
• Increase store traffic through promotions and marketing campaigns
• Oversee Facebook Marketplace sales strategy
• Manage lead follow-up and customer conversion
• Assist with Facebook Ads, Google Ads, and digital marketing campaigns
• Create sales promotions and holiday campaigns
• Build and execute marketing calendars
• Improve close rates and average ticket sales
• Lead by example on the sales floor
• Track KPIs, conversion rates, and team performance
• Help scale operations for future store expansion
Qualifications
• 3+ years of Sales Management experience
• Retail Sales Management experience preferred
• Marketing experience preferred
• Experience with Facebook Ads and social media marketing
• Experience driving traffic and generating leads
• Strong leadership and coaching ability
• Strong closing skills
• High-energy and self-motivated
• Competitive and goal-driven
• Experience in appliances, furniture, automotive, or high-ticket retail is a plus
