Data Analyst/Engineer

McCoy Group is looking for a Data Analyst/Engineer to join our IT team!

If you’re someone who enjoys digging into data, solving problems, and building solutions from the ground up, this could be a great opportunity to make an impact.

This role will take an end-to-end approach from data ingestion to transformation to reporting and analytic. You’ll develop and maintain scalable data pipelines, data transformation processes, and enterprise data warehouse solutions using Microsoft Fabric. You’ll work closely with business stakeholders and analysts to support reporting, dashboards, analytics, and AI-ready data.

We’re looking for someone who is comfortable owning the process, working independently, and figuring out how data moves from source systems to a finished, usable solution. Strong SQL skills are important to this role. Experience with Power BI and data analysis is valuable, but we’re willing to provide support and training to the right person as they develop in those areas.

What You’ll Do

• Build and maintain data ingestion, transformation, and integration pipelines
• Integrate data from databases, APIs, on-premises systems, and third-party platforms
• Develop and optimize Microsoft Fabric Lakehouse and Data Warehouse environments
• Support Power BI reporting, analytics, and AI initiatives
• Ensure data is secure, reliable, accurate, and properly governed
• Troubleshoot production issues and optimize pipeline performance
• Follow best practices for coding, documentation, version control, and deployment

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related field
• 5+ years of Data Engineering experience
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric or similar cloud-based platforms
• Strong knowledge of ETL/ELT, data modeling, and data warehousing
• Experience with SQL, Python and/or Spark, Power BI, APIs, Git/DevOps, and data integration
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work with confidential information
• Ability to travel when needed
