Specialized Recruiting Group is partnering with a leading manufacturing company to find an experienced Production Supervisor for 2nd Shift. This position will lead daily production activities across parts fabrication, assembly, pass door fabrication, and panel assembly.

The Production Supervisor will play a key role in keeping production on schedule, supporting quality and safety, developing employees, and driving continuous improvement throughout the department.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee 2nd shift production activities to meet daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules.
• Plan and allocate people, materials, and resources to keep production running efficiently.
• Monitor production and quality issues and implement corrective actions when needed.
• Communicate company and plant goals clearly to employees and ensure expectations are understood.
• Promote a clean, organized, and efficient work environment.
• Lead and participate in process improvement, root cause analysis, and Lean/Continuous Improvement initiatives.
• Address employee concerns and resolve conflicts in a fair and effective manner.
• Provide direction, coaching, mentoring, and constructive feedback to employees.
• Develop, maintain, and audit work standards and production procedures.
• Ensure company policies, procedures, work rules, and Collective Bargaining Agreement requirements are followed.
• Promote and maintain a safe working environment for all employees.
• Work closely with management and other departments to resolve production challenges.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, Manufacturing, or a related field preferred.
• 2–5+ years of manufacturing experience, preferably in a supervisory or leadership role.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
• Comfortable using Microsoft Office and basic computer applications.
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, or other process improvement methodologies is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
