About the Role: Steeple Square seeks a self-motivated Part-Time Development Manager to help grow relationships and resources that fuel our mission. The successful candidate will lead donor relations, support fundraising events, and manage grants that sustain our mission of strengthening families and building community.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain donor relationships
• Identify new donor prospects and manage donor records
• Support fundraising events, sponsorships, and appeal campaigns
• Research grants, prepare proposals, and track deadlines/reporting
• Assist with newsletters, marketing content, and donor communications
• Collaborate with staff and Board to promote a culture of philanthropy

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in fundraising and/or sales, with nonprofit experience preferred
• Strong communication, organization, and Microsoft Office skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently

Additional Details

• Occasional evenings/weekends required
• Local travel; must have valid driver’s license
• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs and perform basic physical tasks
