Job Overview

Takes Customer generated geometry of drawings and saves them into the correct file format using CAD software.  Utilizes nesting software to generate programs for CNC equipment.  Troubleshoots specific applications as needed.

Ability to use CAD software with knowledge of specific CNC manufacturer's programming software.

Ability to understand and interpret third and first angle photographic projection.

Ability to understand and interpret geometric dimensioning and tolerancing.

Interpret customer drawings and specifications, and using CAD software create engineering drawings.

Coordinates all production and technical communications between customers, sales and production.

Other Skills: AutoCAD, Pronest, Ncell systems, Microsoft office.

2 year Technical Degree in Computer programming, Computer Aided Design or equivalent experience.
