Supply Chain Analyst ( National Role )

Job Overview

The Supply Chain Analyst is responsible for performing in-depth examinations and interpretations of large data sets using data analysis software. You will have the opportunity to be part of the solution by communicating recommendations to all levels of management. This role focuses on data primarily within the Supply Chain Organization, including logistics, operations, and transportation. One of the most exciting parts of this position is the ability to play with a variety of data sets and grow your knowledge of other company units, such as Finance and Sales.

The schedule is Monday through Friday and includes first shift hours. The location of this position is flexible, but must be in close vicinity to a CE branch.

What You'll Do:

• Create weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting and analysis on key business metrics (throughput, capacity, utilization, quality, etc.) for Supply Chain management.
• Analyze supply chain performance metrics and identify patterns/trends in the data in order to provide valuable feedback to supply chain leadership on best practices, areas of possible improvement, or untapped opportunity.
• Provide analytical support to the Regional Procurement Teams leading up to vendor negotiations, product line rationalizations, and product line reviews.

What You'll Have:

• 1-2 years of experience working with large data sets and data analysis software and tools, such as "R".
• The ability to travel throughout the CESCO territories occasionally; Must meet Crescent Electric Supply Company’s driving requirements.
• High School diploma required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
