Position Summary:
The Product Operations Analyst primarily focuses on implementing automation, leveraging data to develop new insights, and improving the overall user experience. They collaborate with Vendor Product Management team members and cross-departmental stakeholders to understand challenges and develop innovative solutions. The Analyst experiments with the automation of manual processes to improve efficiency while simultaneously prioritizing feature enhancements through the development cycle to better the user experience.
Essential Responsibilities (includes, but is not limited to):
- Partners with Product Operations team members and internal stakeholders to identify challenges, areas for improvement, and implement more efficient processes
- Writes user stories that enhance user experience for internal users, vendors, and partners related to order-to-cash processes
- Studies Pax8 Platform functionality to acquire knowledge and eventually become a subject matter expert and escalation point
Develops and analyzes data/reports to drive better informed decisions across the Vendor Product Management team - Participates in Product Operations leadership and Dev team backlog grooming and prioritization sessions to effectively prioritize team projects and platform tickets
- Performs market research on external platforms to determine how competitive companies operate efficiently
- Develops strong, collaborative relationships with team members and key stakeholders to drive process changes forward
Ideal Skills, Experience, and Competencies:
• At least one (1) year previous work experience in product operations or business analysis
• Familiarity with project management and software development tools a plus (e.g., Wrike, Jira, Asana, Postman) pinpoint
• Familiarity with data analysis tools a plus (e.g., Power BI, Excel, Python, SQL)
• Ability to identify and recognize problems and implement solutions
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent teamwork, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to create new and better ways for the team to be successful
• Ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders
• Excellent self-awareness
• Ability to manage multiple tasks/projects simultaneously while operating with a sense of urgency in a fast-paced environment
Required Education & Certifications:
• B.S./B.A. degree in related field or equivalent work experience
Compensation:
- Qualified candidates can expect a salary beginning at $60,000 or more depending on experience
