Position Summary:
The Public Relations Manager builds brand awareness through storytelling and executing meaningful PR campaigns that propel the business identity forward. They proactively work with internal and external stakeholders, build upon existing strong US media relationships, and manage complex and unexpected communication challenges and crises. The Manager continues to position our executives as thought leaders in the industry by getting coverage in IT publications, drafting press releases, producing case studies, and developing executive briefing materials to build out our executive spokespersons’ program. They work with key stakeholders to develop a strategic social media plan as well as a media training program for the organization.
Essential Responsibilities (includes, but is not limited to):
- Oversee Pax8’s overall public relations
- Create and release publications for the press; oversee all outreach to press
- Represent Pax8 in various community and related industry organizations
- Conduct both internal and external communications
- Maintain positive relations with the public, investors, government, and other regulatory groups
- Coordinate initiatives with marketing, content, and production teams
- Serve as a point of contact between Pax8, local officials, and community leaders
- Provide communication around change management as necessary
Ideal Skills, Experience, and Competencies:
- At least five (5) years of related professional experience
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Understanding of new and emerging digital trends
- Tactful mindset that is reflected within their work
- Effective creativity and time management skills
- Proficient media and content creation skills
- Ability to develop and deliver multi-mode communications that convey a clear understanding of the unique needs of different audiences

Required Education & Certifications:
- A./B.S. in related field or equivalent work experience
Compensation:
- Qualified candidates can expect a salary beginning at $86,000 or more depending on experience
