The Vendor Product Specialist performs ongoing support for the Vendor Management team throughout the vendor and product lifecycle. They assist with the launch and post-launch support of vendor products and processes with a commitment to creating the best possible Wingman Experience for our partners. The Specialist collaborates with and shadows the Vendor Analysts during new vendor onboarding projects and existing vendor management projects.

Essential Responsibilities (includes, but is not limited to):

  • Partners with Vendor Analysts to create and update SKUs, pricing, deals, and promotions
  • Troubleshoots ordering, provisioning, and API integration issues identified or escalated by Sales, Service Delivery, and our Partners
  • Shadows new vendor onboarding projects, learns and understands new product features, dependencies, and quote-to-cash processes to serve as process SME post-launch
  • Communicates with internal departments on questions related to vendors, products, and order-to-cash processes
  • Runs audits of and makes updates to vendor and product process documentation and knowledgebases
  • Captures requirements and success criteria for platform updates related to portal functionality; shares requirements with Product Operations team
  • Participates in and coordinates alignment meetings to identify product and process pain points across departments
  • Develops strong, collaborative relationships with team members in order to help with various tasks and projects

Ideal Skills, Experience, and Competencies:

  • At least one (1) year previous work experience in project management or business analysis
  • Familiarity with project management tools a plus (e.g., Wrike, Jira, Asana, Postman)
  • Familiarity with project management and/or process methodologies a plus (e.g. Agile, Scrum, Lean, Kanban, Design Thinking)
  • Ability to become familiar with Product Management processes and the intricacies of the Pax8 Platform
  • Detail oriented and willing to execute daily tasks and projects related to products, pricing, process, and API troubleshooting
  • Excellent self-awareness
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent teamwork, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to take on new opportunities and tough challenges with a sense of urgency, high energy, and enthusiasm
  • Ability to effectively build formal and informal relationship networks inside and outside the organization
  • Ability to build partnerships and work collaboratively with others to meet shared objectives

Required Education & Certifications:

  • A./B.S. degree in related field or equivalent work experience

Compensation:

  • Qualified candidates can expect a salary beginning at $50,000 or more depending on experience

*Note: Compensation is benchmarked on local Denver Metro area market rates. Qualified candidates in other locations can expect a salary package that may be adjusted based off applicable cost of wages in their respective location.
