Bridgewater Advisors Client Service Associate: Job Description

Help conduct the operation of a financial advisory practice with an independent franchisee of Ameriprise Financial Services, LLC. Assist the financial advisor(s) in managing office workflow and business operations. Consistently follow high standards of business and professional ethics and legal and regulatory requirements.

Full-time position would be expected to work approximately 40 hours/week. 1-3 years of work experience in the wealth management/financial planning field is preferred but not required.

Position functions:

Client care:

• Communicate with clients to set up meetings or appointments.
• Prepare necessary new client onboarding requirements.
• Prepare client review reports & documents.
• Open new accounts.
• Process contributions and distributions.
• Estate settlement processing.
• Account maintenance (Examples: update email address, update mailing address/phone numbers, send links to set up client for the secure site, etc).
• Send correspondence to advisors providing updates on any client requests and outstanding items.

Technology Responsibilities:

• Assist with office technology (i.e., chrome cast, TV, software)
• Maintain and create content for social media pages.
• Update advisor website.

Investment Allocation Research:

• Manage asset allocation rebalancing tool
  • Enroll clients into asset allocation rebalancing tool.
  • Have ability to implement models the advisors have created for clients.

Financial Planning:

• Create and update foundational & comprehensive financial plans through MoneyGuide planning program.
  • Conduct and manage associated actions, problems and forms needed on financial plans.
• Proper and descriptive note taking during advisor’s meetings.
