Maintenance – Summer Temp

Job Overview

SUMMARY

Southwest Tech is seeking applicants for summer temp positions. Qualified candidates will perform outside grounds keeping and other facilities duties as assigned. Typical work hours are 8:00 am to 3:30 pm Monday through Thursday but may be flexible

DUTIES & QUALIFICATIONS

• Duties will include spreading mulch, raking, shoveling, planting, mowing, spraying weeds, and other responsibilities
• Candidates need to be able to lift over 50 pounds frequently and work outside in all kinds of weather
• Must be at least 16 years of age and will be subject to completion of a criminal background check.
• Ability to work independently and follow directions carefully as well as ability to work as a team member
• Must possess a valid driver's license

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Position requires: stooping, reaching, standing, walking, talking, hearing, and seeing; lifting up to 75 pounds on a regular basis.

WAGE:   Starting Wage - $10.00/hour

The Review Committee will screen applicants and contact them for an interview.  Meeting the minimum qualifications does not assure the candidate an interview.  Final candidate’s employment offer will be subject to completion of Wisconsin Background Check and pre-employment drug screening.
