Clarke University invites applications for a full-time one year visiting position in Sport Management, beginning August 2022. Successful candidates will teach online and in-person courses. Additional responsibilities include supervising service-learning experiences, preparing and assessing curriculum, recruiting and retaining students, and various departmental committee work.
A master’s degree in a Sport Management or a related field is required, as is the ability to function in a technology-rich environment. All candidates should be able to communicate effectively with students, faculty, staff, and the community.
Theis faculty position will join the Business, Sport Management, Computer Science, Communication, and Accounting department. The department has ten full-time and several part-time faculty members who offer a supportive environment for academic and professional development. Undergraduate major offerings include Sport Management, Business Administration (with emphases in Management, Finance, and Marketing), Accounting, Computer Information Systems, and Communication. Salary and benefits are competitive.
