Your Responsibilities

As an Information Systems Generalist, your primary responsibility is to assist Hillcrest employees by installing and configuring system software and hardware and offer system and operations support to the personnel on a daily basis. Additional responsibilities may include:

  • Providing first level telephonic support and triage for end users
  • Installing, configuring and supporting laptops, PCs, tablets, mobile phones, and network printers
  • Fixing LAN/WAN issues, adding or deleting user accounts, and setting up and maintaining email accounts
  • Installing and supporting operating systems, scanning for viruses, establishing Internet connectivity, and installing computer hardware and software
  • Responding to calls, emails, and ticketing system to provide end user support. Escalate to Senior personnel as needed.
  • Fixing, implementing, maintaining, and documenting the IT ecosystems of the organization, carrying out precautionary maintenance for computers systems, and examining current systems to determine solutions to improve efficiency, reliability, and security

What You Need

  • Associate's degree in Information Technology related field
    • Experience and certifications may be substituted for education
  • One year of experience working in an IT support role
  • Ability to communicate clearly, tactfully, and professionally and establish/maintain good documentation practices
  • Ability to analyze and resolve issues through phone or desk-side support
  • Able to maintain confidentiality regarding information about clients and personnel issues to which they have access
  • Strong customer service skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology related field
  • IT related certifications
  • More than one (1) year of experience working in an IT support role
