Position: Dietary Assistant PRN
Pay: $15.00
Shift Information:  4:00 PM to 7:00 PM
Position Description:  Under the direct supervision of the Clinical Coordinator, is responsible for completing and processing patient menus and nourishments to assure compliance with diet orders. Responsible for using computer software systems to ensure patient safety with dietary restrictions and accuracy of meal tickets. Assist with patient tray and nourishment delivery to floors. Provides proper phone etiquette and customer service for all age groups from infants to elderly.

Essential Duties:

• Uses dietary software program to assure patient safety and meals are served in compliance with current diet order.
• Input, implement and deliver nourishments and tube feeding orders. Calculates amount of tube feeding product needed to meet physician’s order
• Responsible for generating patient meal tickets, patient listings and requested patient reports using dietary software.
