Clarke University invites applications for a full-time tenure-track position in Sport Management, beginning January 2023. As we develop and launch new offerings, we wish to grow our department with a faculty member who can teach in both our Bachelor of Arts programs in Sport Management and our Master of Business Administration program with a certificate in Sport Management. Successful candidates will teach online and in-person courses. Additional responsibilities include advising students, supervising internships and service-learning experiences, preparing and assessing curriculum, recruiting and retaining students, and various committee work.

A doctorate in a Sport Management or a related field is required, as is the ability to function in a technology-rich environment. Administrative and leadership experience is preferred. All candidates should be able to communicate effectively with students, faculty, staff, and the community.

This faculty position will join the Business, Sport Management, Computer Science, Communication, Accounting, and Digital Media Studies department. The department has thirteen full-time and several part-time faculty members who offer a supportive environment for academic and professional development. Undergraduate major offerings include Sport Management, Business Administration (with emphases in Management, Finance, and Marketing), Accounting, Computer Science, Communication, and Digital Media Studies. Salary and benefits are competitive.
