The Job:  
BARD's Accounting and Finance team is seeking a highly energetic individual to join our team as a Business Analyst! Under the direction of the Controller and Financial Analyst, the individual in this role will have the exciting opportunity to consolidate data from operational sources to develop meaningful analytics! This unique position bridges Accounting and Finance with Information Technology. The goal of this role is to fulfill the company's need for advancement in Business Intelligence and Analytics

 

Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Assist the Controller and Financial Analyst with Financial Reporting projects
  • Report writing within various software
  • Data collection, validation, organization, and analysis
  • Create reports based on the analytical needs of the company
  • Analyze and present report data for decision making
  • Be the go-to person for ad hoc data-related questions
  • Facilitates communication between stakeholders

 

Education, Experience and Skills:  
Degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Data Science, or related discipline, Business Analytics Certificate, or a related field and/or a combination of education and analytical experience.

The following skills are highly preferred but not required

  • Power BI - Strong in Report development – Experience with Online Service a plus
  • Dashboard / Business Intelligence development
  • Excel – Lookup functions, Power Query
  • Business Acumen - Financial Statement Analysis

Additional requirements: 
Ability to work collaboratively with a variety of groups and people, both internal and external
