Job Summary – Purpose of Position
Monitor and direct the daily flow of materials and employees in Inventory Control to meet the daily needs of operation. Clearly understand the process flow of inventory physically as well as systematically. Review current procedures and strive to improve on those procedures to decrease processing time and increase service levels.

· Prioritize daily work schedule for the department, and work with other departments within the warehouse to reallocate labor to best meet customer demand and strategic company goals |

· Have a thorough understanding of how inventory flows physically and systematically within all functional areas within the DC |

· Serve as an ambassador of the Duluth Culture. This includes leveraging the 10 Welds as a guide to drive results, employee engagement, and team/self-development. |

· Assist Department Supervisor in warehouse slotting management |
|
· Lead ad-hoc inventory related projects |
|
· Assist Department Supervisor with monitoring of cycle count progress and inventory accuracy levels to ensure we are exceeding established controls |
|
· Assist Department Supervisor in coaching and development of staff |
|
· Conduct annual reviews with all assigned employees |
|
· Assure that all actions taken with regard to direct reports are in accordance with established company policies |
|
· Build cross departmental communications with all functional areas of the company |
|
· Maintain clean/safe work area |
|
· Other duties as assigned |

- High school diploma
- Equivalent work experience would be considered

- WMS experience
- Comfort learning new systems/tools

- Ability to identify process shortfalls and submit workable changes
Physical Environment & Travel Expectations
- Standing or walking for up to eight hours a day.
- Frequently lifting up to thirty pounds, occasionally lifting up to seventy pounds.
- Frequently reaching, twisting, and bending in multiple directions.
- Ability to perform work in tight quarter workstations.
- Moderate warehouse noise level.
- Push/pull a picking cart and/or pallet of up to five hundred pounds.
- Continuous arm, hand, and wrist movement (i.e.: folding garments).
- Work in temperatures ranging from 50 – 95 degrees.
