The University is currently recruiting for an Administrative Assistant of Business and Finance. This position reports to the Vice President for Business and Finance and will provide essential administrative support to the entire Business office. This includes, but is not limited to, greeting visitors, taking minutes, preparing reports and presentations, screening calls, scheduling meetings, and managing our credit card and fleet card policies and procedures. This position is critical in maintaining relationships with business office vendors and is the main point of contact for liability insurance inquiries. In addition to assisting and supporting the Vice President, this position provides support for multiple and varied projects in many of the business and finance departments.

Qualifications

Three to five years of related administrative experience is required. A Bachelor’s degree and experience in a higher education setting is preferred. The successful candidate must have demonstrated experience with Microsoft Office, specifically Word and Excel. This position will support and interact with the entire Business and Finance team, therefore, flexibility, strong collaboration, teamwork, professionalism and customer service skills are required. The position also requires a high level of attention to detail and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
