Essential Job Functions

• Use proprietary Underwriting Model, Excel, and SQL to model both prospective and existing client pharmacy spend, their underlying drivers of cost, as well as MedOne’s profitability.
• Analyze pharmacy claims data and develop reports for operations, sales and other key business units.
• Support the financial aspects of PBM Request for Proposals (RFPs), and client market-checks to include:
• Assist with research, recommendations, and implementation of technology changes and reporting to improve accuracy of the Underwriting Model and optimize financial responses to PBM RFP procurement.
• Continuously engage in process analysis and problem solving to identify opportunities that can be addressed via automation tools and/or applications that optimize MedOne’s processes.

Position Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Math, Computer Science, Statistics or IT.
• 2+ years as a functional Pharmacy Pricing Analyst to include:
• Data mining, and financial modeling using industry standard tools.
• Ability to translate business requirements to accurate technical specifications.
• Have system architecture and enterprise solution understanding.
• Advanced knowledge of reporting, data analysis, and problem solving using analytical tools such as advanced Excel, Microsoft Access, SAS/query tools, SQL, SSRS and/or ad hoc Query Tools.
• Ability to create and successfully implement programs for automation.
• Relevant experience that demonstrates problem-solving, financial acumen, and ability to understand, analyze and decrypt complex processes.
• Should be under no restrictive non-compete covenant from a previous or existing employer.

Work Hours

• This position can be based at corporate in Dubuque, IA or fully remote
• Full time, exempt position
