Clarke’s Institute for Professional Excellence is seeking a qualified individual to serve as a part-time project coordinator.   The successful candidate must be highly organized, self-directed and have excellent communication and time management skills.

Essential duties include:

  • Day-to-day project management of the adult degree and professional development programs following a detailed task list (including tasks such as communication with faculty / facilitators, content verification and course launch)
  • Troubleshooting registration issues for students/participants
  • Tracking key performance indicators and updating related reports
  • Developing and posting social media messages promoting courses

Weekly meetings are expected with the supervisor, the Director of Business and Community Engagement / Interim Director of the Institute and ad hoc meetings as needed.  Coordination with two to three key colleagues may be needed on occasion.

Qualifications, Experience and Skill Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or a in pursuit of a bachelor’s degree with good standing as a junior or senior
  • Demonstrated experience managing multiple tasks on a strict schedule and under tight deadlines
  • Ability to work independently after receiving training / guidance
  • Clear communication skills and willingness to ask questions
  • Willingness to learn new skills / use various databases and apply learning quickly
