PRIMARY FUNCTION:
Leads the consolidation, reporting and analysis of financial data across a multi-location manufacturing, DC, and HQ footprint for both internal and external stakeholders. Partner with counterparts across the Sales & Operations organizations to provide in-depth analysis of the business’s revenue and expense trends, identifying cost savings, sales growth, and risk mitigation opportunities. Will lead partnership with IT and Finance and Accounting organizations to drive technology advancement and organizational efficiency.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Leads corporate financial consolidation and analysis
- Delivers financial results and analysis to executive leadership team utilizing excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Responsible for development of annual operating plans and monthly financial forecasts in conjunction with business counterparts.
- Partner with business leaders to define and measure KPIs to drive organizational alignment and accountability to achieve financial results
- Develop & implement framework for analyzing customer & product profitability to drive sales growth and gross margin expansion.
- Work cross functionally to implement and manage pricing controls and procedures to ensure a robust control environment
- Strategic advisor to leadership team on prioritization of SG&A and capital investment based on ROI analysis
- Develop finance team capabilities and tools to support ad-hoc financial analysis for decision making
- Interprets and analyzes revenue and expense variances to identify business growth opportunities and cost savings.
- Collaborates with peers to complete special projects while effectively managing multiple priorities.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be self-motivated with demonstrated problem-solving and analytical capabilities, working in a complex environment where priorities rapidly change
- Ability to partner across multiple departments to complete high visibility projects and tasks
- Must have a demonstrated history of strong leadership and mentoring of employees
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required
- 5-7 years’ experience in FP&A or Analytics in a manufacturing or CPG environment
- Proficient in MS Excel
- Previous experience with SAP preferred
- 20% domestic travel is required
