Layout Specialist/Proofreader

Details! Details! Details! This role is all about minding the p’s and q’s. Working from provided content and designs, tasks include performing layout, page composition, and proofreading duties on projects ranging from catalogs and websites to videos and exhibits. From grammar and punctuation to knowing your orphans from your widows, this position plays a critical part in upholding the quality standards for which our clients rely on us. The selected candidate will be responsible for reviewing nearly all work our team produces, taking special care to adjust their critiques based on the branding standards established for each client.

Requirements of the position include:

• Excellence in written English, including spelling and grammar
• Proficiency in a Mac-based computer environment
• Proficiency in the Microsoft Suite of applications
• Proficiency in the Adobe Suite of applications, particularly Acrobat and InDesign
• A meticulous approach to work and an eye for detail
• The ability to maintain high-quality work while meeting tight deadlines
• Five or more years of experience in a directly related role preferred
