Graduate Assistant – Admission Operations

Job Overview

The University of Dubuque is a growing faith based University that is seeking a Graduate Assistant - Admission Operations in the Office of Admission for the 2023-2024 term, with a potential renewal for 2024-2025.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Answer the university main phone, and transfer to appropriate department/person
• Data entry of new prospective student inquiries, campus visit details and applications for admission
• Prepare direct mail campaigns to include printing, labeling and sorting
• Assist with office of admission administrative tasks
• Perform other duties as assigned in support of the University's Mission

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree is required, and the position is conditional based on acceptance into University of Dubuque Masters' program
• High level of organization and attention to detail
• Effective communication skills; both orally and written
• Dress and act professionally
• Flexibility and availability to work scheduled times Monday - Saturday

All graduate tuition is waived for the student for the term in which they serve as a GA. In return for a waiver of tuition, the assistantship recipient agrees to provide service to the University equivalent to twenty (20) hours per week.
