SUMMARY
Southwest Tech is seeking applicants for temporary summer maintenance workers. Schedule for
this temporary, non-benefitted position is Monday- Thursday, 8:00am -3:30pm, June-August.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform groundskeeping tasks, including mowing, string trimming, mulching, etc. Other duties
could also include assembling furniture, carpentry work, cleaning, assisting in administrative tasks,
and other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
• All applicants must be 16 years of age and will be subject to completion of a criminal
background check.
• Ability to work independently and follow directions carefully as well as ability to work as a
team member.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Position requires stooping, reaching, standing, walking, talking, hearing, and seeing; lifting up to
50 pounds on a regular basis and up to 10 pounds frequently.
