Human Resource Manager

Job Overview

Human resource manager will administer all HR functions of a small family-owned business with a total of 70 employees (plus another 20 in our sister company, Verena Street Coffee). Serve as the primary point of contact for employees and management regarding HR issues while overseeing recruiting, interviewing & staffing, employee orientation and development, performance management, talent development, employee retention, legal compliance and documentation, implementing company policies, benefits administration, payroll administration, DOT and drug testing compliance and administration.

A key component of this position is to foster the company culture and employee retention, engagement, and morale.

Bachelor’s degree in business and/or human resources, two or more years of human resource experience, PHR or SPHR certification preferred.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
• Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
