Accounting Specialist

K&H CPAs is seeking a highly motivated accounting professional to join our firm as an accounting specialist. We are a local accounting firm that provides accounting and tax services to individuals and small businesses in a variety of industries. As an accounting specialist you will have the opportunity to:

• Work and communicate with clients in a variety of industries within a team atmosphere
• Complete various general ledger activities including bank and account reconciliations, adjusting entries, and sales tax reporting
• Preparation of financial statements
• Payroll preparation and payroll tax reporting
• Assist with other accounting/administrative duties as needed

Requirements:

• The position is full-time — 40 hours per week
• Associates - two-year degree in accounting
• Ability to meet deadlines
• Ability to multitask
• Effective communication skills
• Experience in Quickbooks is a plus

Compensation: Hourly - $25 per hour
