Quality Control Inspector (Part-time)

Job Overview

Looking for PART-TIME?  The Metrix Company has a great opportunity for a part-time Quality Control Inspector.  Working hours will be 6:45 am - 11:45 am, Monday -Friday.

The Quality Control Inspector will ensure quality products by inspecting and testing materials and assembled products within a cleanroom environment.  Other duties include:

• Performs product assessment leak testing
• Selects test samples in accordance with sampling plan from roving inspections of ongoing production and from accumulated completed subassemblies and finished product
• Performs dimensional, functional, and visual tests and inspections of raw material components, in-process products, and finished goods in accordance with Quality Control Inspection Procedures (QCIP’s)
• Completes records of testing and inspections performed
• Pulls samples and inspects incoming raw material components in accordance with Incoming Inspection Procedures
• Initiates nonconformance (NCR) record in accordance with the Nonconformance Control procedure and completes dispositions as assigned
• Participates in maintaining the company’s quality system and adheres to standard operating procedures as applicable

Qualified candidates must possess a high school diploma, good math skills, attention to detail, and solid documentation skills.  Quality Control or manufacturing experience strongly preferred.   This position offers paid time off, paid holidays, and a 401(k) and Profit-Sharing Plan with a company match.
