EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY
The Jackson County EMS Association is seeking candidates
to fill the role of EMS COORDINATOR
This is a full-time position that plans, organizes and coordinates functions to
ensure standardized, equal representation and implementation in the areas of
administrative support, compliance, quality assurance, training, and continuing
education requirements for EMS Agencies within our service area.
Successful candidates should be a High School graduate or equivalent, and
possess two years fi eld experience in emergency responses as a member of
an authorized service program and one year service program management. An
equivalent combination of education and experience which provides the
required knowledge and skill set necessary will be considered.
Successful candidates must also possess or have the ability to obtain
CPR (BLS) Instructor Certification within six months of hire; and
PALS, ACLS, NIMS and EMT Instructor Certifications within one year of hire.
NREMTP or RN Exception Certification is preferred.
Valid State of Iowa driver’s license is required.
Salary range for this position will be $52,000 - $58,000
commensurate with qualifications and experience.
