Job Overview

A great client in Dubuque, IA is searching for an Industrial Engineer to join their team. As an Industrial Engineer, you will play a crucial role in optimizing the production processes, improving efficiency, and ensuring that our operations meet the highest standards of quality and productivity.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze existing manufacturing processes to identify areas for improvement and implement lean manufacturing principles.
• Develop and implement efficient production layouts, considering factors such as workflow, ergonomics, and material flow.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement production line modifications.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives, driving waste reduction, cost savings, and enhanced product quality.
• Evaluate and optimize inventory management processes to reduce lead times and enhance supply chain efficiency.
• Conduct root cause analysis for production issues and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote a culture of safety within the manufacturing environment.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in industrial engineering within a manufacturing setting.
• Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing principles, process optimization, and time study techniques.
• Experience with production line design, automation, and robotics is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions.
